Strange Neon Zone is the 3rd Bowser stage of Luigi and the Forest Ruins Rebooted. A sign at the entrance tells Luigi he is close to Bowser’s Lair, but there are obstacles to deal with before he can enter the pipe. Luigi must conquer 5 different color-themed rooms to reach Bowser, and since many of the paths are solid colors, it can be difficult to see the edges.
If Luigi fails at any point in this stage he will be kicked out to the Underground Corridor, and have to start over from the beginning. The first thing to do is in the green room. Follow the path through the lava, avoiding Bullys and Kuromames until reaching the “!” switch at the end, which opens the door to the blue area. The blue path is slippery, so be sure not to dive or Luigi will slide all the way to the bottom (or fall off entirely). At the gaps in the track, either maintain speed or stand on the very end triangle, which is flat, and long jump to the other side. After the second gap there is a steeper section of the track which requires slope kicks to get up (hold A after a jump and hit B repeatedly). At the top of the blue path is a blue button, which removes the red block over the pipe in the starting room. Jump down or slide back to the starting area and go into the pipe to reach the purple area. Follow the path around the outside of the lava, long jumping over the gaps until reaching the narrow platforms. Continue across those, avoiding the Kuromame to get to the pipe to the orange area. Luigi can skip a large section of the orange area by long jumping down from the second platform to the one of the platforms below. The next pipe leads to the Yellow area, where Luigi has to ride a shell briefly up a lava path to arrive at an ominous looking grey pipe. This pipe leads to Bowser, and once entered will serve as a checkpoint.
The fight is a standard 3rd Bowser fight from Super Mario 64, except that the arena begins in the star shape, and the bombs are slightly raised. Defeating Bowser will drop a Giant Star which warps Luigi to Peach's Castle. The last star is in front of the castle doors and collecting it will end the game.
An alternate name for this stage is Familiarly Colorful.
