King Boo's Revenge is a ROM hack made by thebloody7. Released on February 2017, it is often considered to be of the most difficult ones out there similar to Star Revenge 2: Night of Doom.
On July 2018, this hack has a sequel: King Boo's Revenge 2.
Plot[]
King Boo has taken over the Mushroom Kingdom with the help of Bowser.
To restore order, Mario must travel through the worlds that King Boo has destroyed and reclaim the lost stars, but King Boo will not let himself be defeated with ease.

- ↑ This was labeled before as "Deven Lautippe: Doomed Grounds", but I could find zero proof of such name or author. It has been reverted to question marks. If this can be proven, by all means undo this change, but I'm not confident in it to leave it up. As for what it might be, I have not much clue, the only real hint is the internal song name "Alien_Desert_(2)". No obvious results turned up from basic searching.
