Flowpipe Sewers is the basement of the Star Leap Tower. It contains two courses: the second boss level, and a secret Star. You enter this room through a pipe inside the main room of the Star Leap Tower. There are various pipes placed around the area, a few of which can be entered using a combination of the block switch and Metal Cap. A block that dispenses a shell is also available to use to quickly navigate this area.
Secret Star[]
On top of one of the pipes is a Metal Cap, use it to step on the switch just below the pipe, and climb up the blocks that have appeared. Double jump from the top of the blocks into the pipe, and run along inside it, heading towards the Colorful Coral Caverns entrance- but turn left where the pipe goes into the wall. This leads to a separate room with a Toad who gives you a Star.
Trivia[]
- There is a secret room in the Flowpipe Sewers accessible by jumping on top of the green pipe system and running along the top until it goes up into the ceiling. There will be a small hole in the wall that Mario can reach by performing a sideflip. This leads to a pipe that leads to a completely dark room with nothing but a Toad in a spotlight. This Toad's text is "I AM ERROR", which is a reference to Zelda II.
